Scars: Esther's Poem

    Secrets behind satin

     lies hidden in lace

Though you'll never see what's behind my angel's face

You're stupider than stupid if you cannot see the trick

So I've taken all my past and covered it with strips

of satin and lace, deceit that's black and red

Never to be seen, and try to see, you're dead

Soon what's yours is mine, and what was his is ours

No more lacey ribbons, it's time to see the scars
I saw and rewatched Orphan. I always liked her red and black ribbons; they're symbolic of her ugly personality hidden by a sweet exterior. This poem just sort of came to mind.
